This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the facilitation of the CISO Program strategy by aligning program activities with enterprise and cybersecurity objectives.
• Set objectives, establish success metrics, and monitor program performance against strategic priorities.
• Maintain the catalog of cybersecurity services, encompassing services, tools, and technologies.
• Support the evaluation of program performance, capability maturity assessments, and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate the intake of cybersecurity project requests from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Document, evaluate, scope, prioritize, and initiate project requests.
• Oversee the cybersecurity project portfolio by tracking initiatives, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Uphold standardized project management frameworks, tools, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload distribution.
• Monitor program performance using KPIs and KRIs while identifying emerging risks.
• Create executive, business unit, and operational reporting materials, including dashboards, metrics, and trend analyses.
• Track program expenditures, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Assist in the development and management of the CISO program budget.
• Manage the inventory, performance, selection, and lifecycle issues of cybersecurity vendors.
• Facilitate collaboration across cybersecurity, IT, business units, and external partners.
• Support the integration of cybersecurity considerations into enterprise projects, audits, and operational activities.
• Identify and implement enhancements to CISO program processes, tools, and governance structures.
• Create standardized documentation, playbooks, and operational procedures.
• Remain updated on evolving trends in cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, portfolio management, or program operations is preferred.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Experience in supporting cybersecurity project or portfolio management, including the tracking of initiatives, managing priorities, and reporting performance.
• Strong comprehension of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001), risk management principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in developing executive reporting materials and using metrics to monitor program performance.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experienced in cybersecurity portfolio management, program governance, or strategy execution.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (e.g., aviation, financial services, healthcare, or government).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• An advanced degree (MBA, MS in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field) is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2 are desirable.
