Manager, CDI Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and implementation of automated, self-service dashboards utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

• Adapt dashboards for various audiences, ranging from executive summaries for C-Suite to detailed data for CDI specialists.

• Recruit, train, and guide business system analysts in both technical competencies and clinical/coding knowledge.

• Collaborate with Physician Advisors and CDI Directors to communicate data insights to clinical personnel.

• Modify data presentations to illustrate how documentation deficiencies affect individual physicians' quality metrics.

• Supervise the extraction and integration of data from EHR systems like Epic or Cerner, coding software, and billing databases.

• Develop a consolidated data warehouse for CDI analytics.

• Monitor and evaluate CDI KPIs, including Case Mix Index (CMI), CC/MCC capture rates, and SOI/ROM scores.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma equivalency with three years of relevant cumulative experience OR an Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant cumulative experience OR seven years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience is required.

• Licensure relevant to the state in which the work is performed is required.

• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

• A minimum of three years of leadership or management experience is preferred.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, scripting languages (Python, Tableau, Power BI, Apps Script), SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is required.

• Knowledge of clinical/coding is essential.

• Strong comprehension of HL7, FHIR, or EHR data integration principles is necessary.

• Project Management and CCDS certification are required.
