Manager, Business Insights

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee analytics projects and strategic initiatives on an enterprise level, including workforce capacity planning and staffing forecast initiatives.

• Convert business objectives into actionable solutions.

• Collaborate across various functions at all levels and convey findings and insights to non-technical business stakeholders.

• Interact with business leaders to comprehend market-specific needs, assess staffing and capacity requirements, and align analytic capabilities with strategic goals.

• Promote cross-team collaboration on projects between state-based health plans and business units.

• Investigate critical business challenges and pinpoint potential enterprise solutions.

• Offer product ownership support for the deployment and adoption of analytic tools and technologies.

• Track SLAs, customer satisfaction, staffing trends, and workforce capacity indicators.

• Design and manage staffing models utilizing historical volume, membership forecasts, productivity, processing times, and other operational metrics.

• Convert complex data into staffing and financial recommendations.

• Collaborate across Analytics, Finance, Strategy, Information Technology, and operational business sectors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or IT, healthcare administration, statistics, or a related field.

• 4+ years of experience in general business, analytics, or IT.

• Experience in workforce capacity planning, workforce modeling, or staffing forecast is highly preferred.

• Advanced skills in Excel are highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Power BI as a data source and SQL for data integration with Excel is highly desirable.

• Strong analytical judgment and critical thinking are strongly preferred.

• Experience in technology product ownership, development, deployment, and user adoption is preferred.

• Working knowledge of analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, or similar tools is preferred.

• Experience in organizational performance management, continuous improvement, customer feedback mechanisms, or change management is preferred.

• Background in communication and change management, learning and development, or human resources is preferred.

• Experience in the healthcare or consulting sector is preferred.
