Manager – Business Banking Credit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Business Banking credit proposals and deliver credit recommendations based on defined credit criteria, system assessments, and sustainable business cash flows.

• Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of credit proposals and suggest suitable risk mitigations.

• Ensure adherence to Product Programs, Credit Policies, and regulatory standards.

• Execute projects aimed at enhancing productivity and reinforcing lending products, credit policies, and underwriting practices.

• Detect gaps in processes and policies and recommend improvements.

• Identify and evaluate exceptions related to policy, credit, and collateral.

• Report significant deficiencies, policy violations, and risk issues to the Assistant Manager.

• Achieve daily productivity goals and meet turnaround-time commitments.

• Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Engage in automation and digital transformation projects.

• Assist with training, user acceptance testing, and process validation efforts.

• Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to new team members.

• Foster teamwork, engagement, and a positive team environment.

• Propose updates to Credit Policies and Product Programs.

• Recommend enhancements to operational processes, controls, and risk management strategies.

• Aid in the implementation of policy and procedural modifications that align with regulatory requirements and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in a Credit Management setting.

• At least 3 years of experience in SME/Business Banking Credit underwriting.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Effective interpersonal skills.

• Ability to independently solve problems and work autonomously.

• Must be client-focused and results-driven.
