This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Recruit, motivate, and develop a team of high-achieving Machine Learning Scientists, Data Scientists, and Analytics Engineers.
β’ Foster partnerships with stakeholders across product management, engineering, consumer insights, content, and strategic initiatives.
β’ Cultivate a culture that is inclusive, innovative, and collaborative.
β’ Create a team charter and roadmap that maximizes team effectiveness and aligns with the evolving needs of the business.
β’ Serve as a liaison between Product, Engineering, Strategy, and DSE teams.
β’ Maintain extensive knowledge of the operational aspects of the Netflix Ads product.
β’ Ensure the team delivers reliable, high-quality technical outputs that have a significant impact on the business.
β’ Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to outline models and algorithms that support business objectives.
β’ Utilize analytical techniques to assess concepts, unravel challenges, construct models and workflows, offer recommendations, and lead comprehensive initiatives in the advertising domain.
β’ Proven tenacity, resilience, and leadership experience in coordinating and driving cross-functional projects.
β’ Capability to evaluate complex systems through both quantitative and qualitative lenses.
β’ High emotional intelligence with the ability to represent the product effectively.
β’ Player-coach capability: adept at formulating roadmaps and strategy while also executing technical tasks.
β’ Excellent communication, precise writing, and presentation skills tailored for both technical and creative audiences.
β’ Experience in building and leading hybrid Data Science and Machine Learning teams within the advertising sector.
β’ Ideally, knowledge of real-time bidding, auction mechanics, or budget pacing and delivery optimization.
β’ Skilled in translating business goals into actionable analyses and leveraging analytics for quantitative recommendations.
