Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the executive team during consulting projects focused on financial risk management clients.

• Lead a small team of professionals, including both employees and client resources, on customer engagements.

• Identify, plan, coordinate, and validate deliverables on customer engagements; assign tasks to team members.

• Ensure that project data and information are managed as per expectations and within strict budget and time constraints.

• Work in collaboration with business unit and IT sponsors to set project goals, success criteria, and conduct risk assessments.

• Oversee approved funding alongside business sponsors and IT.

• Collaborate with architecture team members to ensure solutions align with the overall IT strategy and data governance.

• Coordinate successful project delivery across various IT teams.

• Develop and manage realistic, credible project plans with endorsement from resources and business sponsors.

• Provide status reports to stakeholders and facilitate communication among stakeholders and teams.

• Ensure clarity on objectives, priorities, and specific responsibilities for team members.

• Manage projects associated with data warehousing, ETL, and reporting systems.

• Work closely with support teams to oversee transition and warranty periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.

• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in a financial risk consultant role or a closely related position.

• Proven ability to apply mathematical concepts using SAS software within a financial services environment, acquired through three (3) years of work experience.

• Demonstrated familiarity with financial regulatory standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL, along with related accounting practices, obtained through three (3) years of work experience.

• Proven knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules, gained through three (3) years of work experience.

• All years of experience may be obtained concurrently.
