This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee CDP Partner Connect, the disaster intelligence service designed for funders.
• Manage the roadmap, delivery model, templates, and timelines for Partner Connect.
• Complete enhancement projects and spearhead the launch of the updated product.
• Cultivate client relationships within Partner Connect and conduct regular briefings on ongoing disasters and recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with grants, education, research, and program teams for production coordination.
• Monitor disaster situations, collect information from partners, and provide vetted recommendations for nonprofits.
• Produce quarterly impact reports and offer clear guidance during disaster events.
• Develop scalable tools and processes, including a client-facing portal.
• Expand the client base through outreach, proposals, scopes of work, pricing, and renewals.
• Track client engagement and document the value delivered.
• Assist and manage Advisory Services projects, encompassing curriculum, learning, and planning engagements.
• Lead client-facing webinars, business development meetings, and expert consultations.
• Create new offerings within Advisory Services.
• Connect clients to CDP's grants, educational resources, and convening opportunities.
• Support organizational initiatives and strategy formulation.
• Represent CDP at external events.
• Collaborate across the organization and fulfill other assigned responsibilities.
• Travel throughout the year to attend periodic on-site client meetings, conferences, and staff retreats.
• Coordinate occasional evening and weekend work during significant disaster events.
• A minimum of 5-7 years in consulting, client services, philanthropy, nonprofit disaster management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Background in advising corporate or private foundations, donor-advised fund sponsors, or corporate giving programs.
• Experience overseeing a product, service line, or program, ensuring quality and revenue generation.
• Familiarity with representing organizations in discussions with senior leaders at foundations and corporations.
• Ability to independently or collaboratively lead client meetings.
• Exceptional writing skills with the capability to produce client-ready materials requiring minimal editing.
• Sound judgment in fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
• Experience in building working relationships across teams to effectively serve clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 and comfortable integrating new technologies into daily operations.
• Preferred: experience establishing repeatable service processes and managing digital tools like client portals.
• Preferred: knowledge of nonprofit due diligence or grantmaking processes.
• Preferred: experience in writing proposals or expanding a client portfolio.
• Preferred: familiarity with CRM systems.
• Preferred: supervisory experience in leading teams and developing talent.
• Commitment to the mission and strategy of CDP.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Must reside within the Mountain, Central, or Eastern US time zones.
• Must provide documentation proving legal eligibility to work in the United States for an extended duration.
