Management & Technology Consulting Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and continuously enhance internal business processes, operational workflows, cross-team transitions, reporting schedules, and resource allocation.

• Recognize bottlenecks and inefficiencies, suggest solutions, and drive improvements to fruition.

• Assist in tracking budgets and operational reporting for leadership purposes.

• Manage project plans, timelines, and status updates for Operations and IT projects.

• Coordinate dependencies across teams and with vendors, which include penetration testing firms and platform providers.

• Oversee the annual and ongoing penetration testing cycle, including scoping, vendor coordination, and tracking remediation efforts.

• Develop and implement data retention policies across Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Slack.

• Create and refine agentic and AI-assisted workflows utilizing platforms like Claude and Gemini.

• Administer and optimize Salesforce, Okta, 1Password, CrowdStrike, Asana, and Google Workspace.

• Offer strategic and advisory assistance to the VP of Operations and IT Manager concerning tools, processes, and technology roadmaps.

• Manage renewals for software and vendor contracts, product evaluations, audits, and annual IT policy revisions.

• Provide daily operational and IT support, including access provisioning, ticket triage, and onboarding for tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in management or technology consulting operations; 3–6+ years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; equivalent experience is also acceptable.

• Knowledge of consulting operations, including resource planning, timesheets and utilization, program budgeting, milestone oversight, project-management-related IT systems, and consulting talent development strategies.

• Proficiency in designing, documenting, and enhancing operational processes.

• Project management capabilities, including prioritization, planning, and timely delivery across various initiatives.

• Ability to configure or troubleshoot enterprise platforms directly.

• Familiarity with IT security and compliance principles, penetration testing coordination, access management, and data retention/governance policies.

• Experience in vendor management, product evaluation, renewal lifecycle management, audit support, and policy updates.

• Prior experience in configuring, administering, or optimizing enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Okta, 1Password, CrowdStrike, Google Workspace, Gemini, Claude, or Asana is highly preferred.

• Experience in supporting or creating AI-driven/agentic workflows is a significant advantage.

• Strong judgment, effective communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, and experience in a small, fast-paced team environment.
