Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with Toptal clients to comprehend their requirements.

• Match clients with Management Consultants from Toptal’s talent network on a custom basis.

• Offer assistance during the matching process, throughout engagements, and beyond.

• Collect requirements and consult with clients effectively.

• Formulate job descriptions, outline talent responsibilities, and specify requirements.

• Conduct searches for talent profiles, create shortlists of candidates, and send requests for availability.

• Verify talent availability, screen applications, and make candidate selections.

• Present candidates to clients while conveying their technical and cultural fit.

• Tailor talent rates, modify commitment types, and arrange engagement dates.

• Gather feedback and maintain comprehensive documentation on the platform.

• Advise and support Management Consultants within the network.

• Investigate any disputes and collaborate cross-functionally to find resolutions.

• Build and oversee a client portfolio.

• Forge connections with top-tier talent.

• Act as a subject matter expert in matching for management consulting.

• Enhance the success of the matching lifecycle through feedback, experience, and data insights.

• Initiate operational enhancements and infrastructure to facilitate scaling.

• Engage in onboarding new team members and sharing best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.

• Must have full-time availability during EST or PST working hours.

• Minimum of 5 years in Management Consulting (from a top-tier or reputable boutique firm) or equivalent strategic advisory experience.

• Practical experience across various consulting practices, or a robust generalist background covering multiple areas.

• Strong adaptability to learn and execute tasks in new areas of expertise.

• Capability to interpret ambiguous business needs and translate them into a consultant’s responsibilities and skills.

• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence skills.

• Knowledge of business strategy and management consulting concepts, playbooks, and frameworks.

• Ability to swiftly adopt new processes and technologies.

• Capacity to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure.

• Strong strategic thinking capabilities.

• Self-motivated individual who can execute with minimal guidance.

• Exceptional individual contributor skills.
