Management Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the transformation, implementation, and operational activities of the healthcare system, specifically for the Office of Suicide Prevention within the VA/VHA.

• Aid in the assessment of the effectiveness of the Emergent Suicide Care benefit implementation, ensuring that eligible Veterans appropriately receive the benefit.

• Facilitate the comprehensive implementation of the ESCb benefit by developing standard operating procedures, evaluating implementation processes, analyzing leadership data, and creating communication artifacts.

• Conduct research and systematic reviews of documentation, policies, procedures, and guidelines to assess program performance.

• Perform organizational assessments and gap analyses, documenting findings and recommendations.

• Assist in defining and refining project and program requirements, objectives, and strategies.

• Monitor deliverables, maintain project documents and work plans, and coordinate activities among team members and stakeholders.

• Present findings, analyses, and proposed solutions during client-facing meetings and working sessions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different geographical locations and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

• Carry out qualitative analyses of program documentation, data, and stakeholder feedback.

• Support the review of quantitative data and assist in basic metrics development.

• Prepare and maintain documentation, records, presentations, and analytical outputs.

• Develop and apply knowledge of complex programmatic, policy, and operational topics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, healthcare administration, project management, process engineering, business or data analysis, change management, or related fields.

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, communications, management, statistics, analytics, finance, or a related field.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• Capacity to adapt to change, manage ambiguity, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in communicating complex ideas clearly and logically, both in writing and verbally.

• Skill in synthesizing qualitative information and working with quantitative data and basic metrics.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and knowledge of document management best practices.

• Ability to identify and implement improvements in processes and workflows.

• Capability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

• Experience or familiarity with policy implementation in complex organizations and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

• Experience or familiarity with behavioral health, mental health care systems, or suicide prevention and intervention efforts.

• Previous experience supporting the VA, VHA, and/or a similar federal organization.
