
Managed Repair Large Loss Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee reconstruction, fire mitigation, restoration, and property repair tasks throughout the entire claims process.
• Handle large-loss and intricate property claims, particularly those exceeding $50,000.
• Act as the main point of contact for insured clients, contractors/vendors, and insurance carrier partners.
• Coordinate repair activities from the initial assignment to project completion.
• Provide prompt updates, documentation, and diligent follow-through.
• Track file progression, aging, outstanding tasks, response timelines, and SLA requirements.
• Assess scopes, estimates, invoices, and repair documentation for precision and thoroughness.
• Work collaboratively with contractors, project managers, carrier partners, and internal teams to address barriers, delays, documentation deficiencies, scope inconsistencies, scheduling conflicts, quality concerns, and SLA risks.
• Relay file status, documentation requests, estimate evaluations, scheduling, repair advancements, customer issues, and future steps via phone, email, system documentation, and other business communication channels.
• Utilize expertise in restoration, reconstruction, mitigation, and property claims to facilitate positive claim results.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance file management, communication, customer experience, and repair process efficiency.
• Foster positive working relationships with insured clients, vendors, carrier partners, colleagues, and leadership.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred.
• An active insurance adjuster license(s) with at least three years of relevant experience in property restoration, reconstruction, mitigation, or property claims is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in managing reconstruction, mitigation, restoration, or property repair files, particularly complex and large-loss assignments.
• Strong knowledge of property restoration and repair processes, contractor coordination, estimating, invoicing, claim documentation, and file management.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with insured clients, vendors, carrier partners, and internal teams.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems for documentation, communication, and file management.
• Experience with Xactimate and XactAnalysis is preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, catastrophe events, and other high-demand periods, as necessary.
