Managed Repair Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Handle inbound and outbound calls, and respond to electronic requests related to file management.

• Establish and nurture relationships with policyholders, clients, and contractors through friendly and timely file management.

• Analyze and interpret policyholder inquiries concerning the processes and status of their files.

• Take initiative on file inquiries or issues associated with scheduling, inspections, estimate completions, and contractor work completion.

• Communicate a clear action plan to address issues faced by policyholders, clients, or contractors in line with company guidelines.

• Document file statuses and progress within the direct repair network file management systems.

• Review and upload relevant documentation for specific policyholder files.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required, or a combination of education, certification, and/or experience equivalent.

• Previous experience in insurance, construction, or customer service industries is strongly preferred.

• Must exercise discretion and judgment in resolving issues.

• Demonstrates a professional image and conduct.

• Complies with assigned work schedules and tasks.

• Availability to work overtime or flexible schedules during high volume or CAT events is essential.

• Capable of problem-solving and employing critical thinking skills.

• Ability to address conflict in a professional and courteous manner.

• Exceptional verbal, electronic, and written communication skills, alongside strong customer service abilities.

• Collaborate with peers and various departments to achieve the organization's common goals.

• Dependable in fulfilling work commitments.

• Must be adaptable and flexible in various situations.

• Proficient in utilizing technology devices, software, and applications.

• Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills is required.

• A reliable high-speed home broadband internet connection with a minimum of 25 meg download and 10 meg upload speeds is required, along with the capability to connect to home internet via Ethernet cord if remote work is necessary.
