Major Donor Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Generate over $2M in major gift contributions annually.

• Manage a portfolio of 100–200 major donors who each contribute $10,000 or more.

• Develop strong, trust-based relationships with donors.

• Present opportunities for annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based giving.

• Share impactful stories that illustrate how generosity changes lives.

• Identify and nurture potential new major donor prospects.

• Create customized engagement strategies for donors.

• Represent Mercy Chefs with passion, professionalism, and integrity.

• Travel up to 50% of the time to meet donors and experience the mission firsthand.

• Collaborate with the Development team utilizing fundraising techniques and CRM tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development, preferably with major gifts.

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing ambitious fundraising targets.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience in managing donor portfolios and using CRM systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• A high level of professionalism and discretion.

• Comfort in engaging in faith-based discussions when appropriate.
