Major Donor Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Secure over $2M annually in major gift contributions

• Manage a portfolio of 100–200 major donors who contribute $10,000+

• Foster deep, trust-based relationships with donors

• Present opportunities for annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based giving

• Share impactful stories that illustrate how generosity changes lives

• Identify and nurture new major donor prospects

• Create tailored engagement strategies for donors

• Represent Mercy Chefs with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity

• Travel up to 50% to connect with donors and experience the mission firsthand

• Collaborate with the Development team utilizing fundraising strategies and CRM tools

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development (major gifts preferred)

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing ambitious objectives

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

• Experience in managing donor portfolios and utilizing CRM systems

• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

• High level of professionalism and discretion

• Comfortable engaging in faith-based discussions when appropriate
