Major Donor Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Generate over $2M in annual contributions from major gifts.

• Personally manage a portfolio of 100–200 major donors who give $10,000 or more.

• Establish deep, trust-based relationships with donors.

• Present opportunities for annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based giving.

• Share impactful stories that illustrate how generosity changes lives.

• Identify and nurture new prospects for major donations aligned with the mission.

• Create tailored engagement strategies for each donor.

• Represent Mercy Chefs with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity.

• Collaborate effectively with the Development team.

• Utilize fundraising practices and CRM tools to maintain donor relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development, with a focus on major gifts preferred.

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing ambitious fundraising goals.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience in managing donor portfolios and CRM systems.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• High level of professionalism and discretion.

• Comfortable engaging in faith-based discussions when suitable.

• Heart aligned with the Christian mission and values of Mercy Chefs.

• Self-motivated and adaptable to changing environments.

• Willing to travel up to 50% to connect with donors in their communities and experience the mission firsthand.
