This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +4 more states.
• Act as the strategic leader for both regional and national Long-Term Care (LTC) accounts.
• Oversee essential regional and national LTC accounts, which include pharmacy providers, corporate skilled nursing chain accounts, associations, and integrated health systems.
• Generate customer insights and pinpoint marketplace needs to enhance access and broaden education on PDP diagnosis and treatment.
• Organize resources to foster lasting relationships with key LTC clients.
• Exhibit clinically precise product and disease state knowledge.
• Collaborate with Sales, Managed Markets, Medical, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
• Create and execute a geographic LTC business plan that promotes regional implementation and national influence.
• Identify significant influencers and stakeholders.
• Enhance ACADIA’s reputation as a reliable partner.
• Deliver high-level in-service presentations to key account stakeholders.
• Drive pull-through opportunities and projects through coordinated cross-functional execution.
• Formulate collaboration strategies across Institutional, office-based, and other LTC teams.
• Provide support to LTC Sales team members regarding regional LTC accounts.
• Align Sales Leadership, Managed Markets, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other stakeholders around integrated strategies for major national accounts.
• Participate in regional calls and meetings.
• Assist LTC teams in developing strategic business plans for assigned accounts.
• Set work standards that align with ACADIA's corporate culture, vision, and values.
• Comply with all regulatory and promotional guidelines.
• This role is field-based and requires up to 70% travel.
• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, healthcare, life sciences, business administration, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience is required.
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in sales, account management, and/or marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Long-Term Care environment/channel and in a field-based position is required.
• Strong preference for experience in interacting and building relationships with KOLs, Centers of Excellence (COE), or complex integrated health systems.
• Experience with Fellowship and advocacy programs is highly desired.
• Excellent matrix management skills are essential, both internally and externally with clients.
• Must maintain good standing with the FDA.
• Experience in CNS is highly preferred.
• Required broad-based managed markets experience covering a multi-state territory.
• Proven leadership and excellence in formulating strategies to tackle future competitive or industry developments.
• Creativity, situational analysis/problem-solving skills, and analytical abilities are necessary.
• Strong teamwork capabilities with the ability to lead collaborative, cross-functional efforts across the LTC Ecosystem, organize resources around account priorities, and achieve shared team objectives.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating genuine care and concern for others, with a proven ability to establish and maintain robust relationships with key accounts.
• Broad business perspective, including a solid working knowledge of office operations and systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate department or area issues and results within and across functional areas and conduct presentations of technical information related to specific projects or timelines.
• Capacity to gain cooperation from others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions on processes and resources based on the overall needs of the team.
• A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.
• Ability to travel up to 70% of the time.
