Logistics Account Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage the flow of incoming and outgoing freight while keeping informed about daily priorities and weekly transportation objectives.

• Ensure that carriers adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Evaluate lane data, on-time performance, and costs to successfully negotiate rates with customers and third-party carriers, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Engage with brokers, carriers, and customers to address any discrepancies.

• Oversee and coordinate logistics activities, including obtaining shipment rates, negotiating with logistics service providers, selecting 3PL partners, and tracking as well as expediting shipments.

• Verify and resolve issues related to shipping or customs documentation, such as PODs, BOL, and carrier confirmations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Business is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in the Supply Chain/Transportation industry is necessary.

• Experience with FTL shipments is essential.

• Knowledge of North American geography is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn new software.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team setting.

• Advanced English proficiency is required.

• Ideally, candidates should be based in Bogotá or able to travel to Bogotá at their own expense once a month.
