Live Yoga Instructor – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Facilitate live virtual yoga sessions for senior adults on a consistent weekly basis.

• Instruct gentle, chair, and modified standing yoga practices with clear verbal instructions.

• Provide real-time, accessible modifications for varying mobility levels.

• Foster a warm and supportive atmosphere within the class.

• Start the virtual session punctually and welcome participants.

• Collaborate with the wellness team to develop class themes and organize the monthly schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• 200-hour yoga teacher certification (RYT-200 or equivalent).

• A minimum of two years of teaching experience, specifically with older adults.

• Proven experience in chair yoga, gentle yoga, or adaptive practices.

• Ability to teach effectively on camera with strong verbal cues.

• Access to reliable high-speed internet.

• A quiet and well-lit space for teaching.

• Proficient in using Zoom.

• Professional liability insurance, or a willingness to acquire it.
