Live Video Teller I, Bilingual Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Welcome members primarily through Express Teller Machines and various remote channels.

• Handle deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, stop payments, card orders/replacements, statement/check copies, address changes, and general maintenance requests.

• Support members with additional needs and resolve requests utilizing problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Assume responsibility for situations within authority limits or refer them to the appropriate credit union personnel.

• Utilize resources and the department ticketing system for intra- and interdepartmental research and member work requests.

• Keep up-to-date with knowledge of credit union products and services.

• Recognize cross-sell and referral opportunities and make relevant suggestions.

• Engage in credit union promotions.

• Maintain the technical knowledge necessary to execute assigned tasks.

• Attend meetings and events during evenings and weekends when necessary.

• Travel to credit union facilities or regions as required.

• Carry out other duties as necessary or assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• One to twelve months of relevant or related experience.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Professional telephone and on-screen communication abilities.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Technical proficiency and proficient computer/keyboarding skills.

• 10-key calculator proficiency.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to adjust or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds in any direction.

• Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for extended periods.

• Capacity to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements while using a computer.

• Close and continuous visual acuity for data and figure preparation/analysis, transcription, computer terminal viewing, and extensive reading.

• Willingness to work Saturdays.

• Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, extended hours, or unpredictable schedules.

• Must pass a drug screening test within 48 hours of receiving a job offer.

• Bilingual capability is required, as indicated in the job title.
