Litigation Employment Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Advocate for employee clients in both state and federal court hearings, oral arguments, mediations, and trial sessions.

• Develop and reply to extensive written discovery requests.

• Prepare for, conduct, and defend depositions of clients, opposing witnesses, and corporate representatives.

• Create legal documents including pleadings, motions for class certification, oppositions to motions for summary judgment, and appellate briefs.

• Collaborate with trial teams to steer strategies in complex wage-and-hour and class action litigation.

• Travel as necessary for court hearings, depositions, and mediations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid license to practice law in Oregon.

• Over 5 years of civil litigation experience in Oregon.

• Demonstrated success in motion practice, depositions, oral advocacy, and managing discovery.

• Previous experience in wage and hour litigation, class actions, and complex civil litigation is highly desirable.

• Outstanding legal research capabilities.

• Strong persuasive writing abilities.

• Confident courtroom presence.

• Excellent client advocacy skills.
