Linguist – Polish to Lithuanian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Translate content between Polish and Lithuanian while maintaining cultural nuances and clarity.

• Edit and enhance language content for precision, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.

• Implement current language standards, usage trends, and best practices.

• Assess and offer structured feedback to enhance the quality of language models.

• Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to localize content for language-specific markets.

• Assist in content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.

• Creatively modify source text when transcreation is necessary.

• Complete any required domain-specific tests and onboarding processes, including payment setup.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate degree in another field combined with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Capability to adhere precisely to terminology and reference materials.

• Experience in translating the Polish > Lithuanian language pair.

• An updated CV/resume in English.

• Reliable availability and commitment; most tasks necessitate a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.

• Contractors must not be located in regions subject to international embargo or sanctions.
