This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia, +1 more country.
• Translate content between Polish and Estonian while maintaining cultural nuance and clarity.
• Edit and enhance language content for precision, tone, and contextual relevance across digital platforms.
• Implement current language standards, usage trends, and best practices.
• Assess and offer structured feedback to enhance language model quality.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for language-specific markets.
• Assist in content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and applications.
• Creatively modify text beyond the source when transcreation is necessary.
• Complete onboarding tasks, including an application form and payment setup, post-selection and testing.
• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
• A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• Capability to adhere to terminology and reference materials accurately.
• Experience in translating within the Polish > Estonian language pair.
• Consistent availability and commitment to accepted tasks.
• Most tasks necessitate a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
• An updated CV/resume in English.
• Must complete a domain-specific test if required.
• Contractors cannot be engaged in regions subject to international embargoes or sanctions.
• Contractors are solely responsible for their own tax obligations.
