Linguist – Mongolian, UI Technical / Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Modify intricate software interfaces and support documentation for native Mongolian users.

• Tailor global campaigns and brand messaging for the Mongolian market.

• Adapt product and e-commerce content, including product listings and UI elements.

• Implement regional naming conventions and formatting standards.

• Maintain quality standards and uphold brand identity.

• Collaborate with production and quality leads to ensure timely project delivery within client specifications.

• Finalize onboarding and payment arrangements following selection and testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Mongolian.

• A graduate degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR a graduate degree in another field along with 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.

• Capability to adhere closely to terminology and reference materials.

• Demonstrated professional experience in translation and localization for marketing, UI/software, or e-commerce content.

• Preferably experienced in app or platform localization.

• Dependable availability and commitment; most tasks necessitate a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.

• CV must be submitted in English.

• Must undertake a domain-specific test if required.

• Not permitted to work in regions subject to international embargo or sanctions.

• Responsible for personal tax obligations as a 1099 contractor.
