This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in establishing Directive's dedicated Lifecycle Marketing practice from the ground up.
• Develop lifecycle strategies that are aligned with client revenue models, customer journeys, data, and business objectives.
• Design comprehensive customer and prospect journeys encompassing acquisition, nurture, conversion, onboarding, retention, expansion, and re-engagement.
• Create segmentation strategies utilizing demographic, firmographic, behavioral, purchase, engagement, lifecycle-stage, and account data.
• Identify shortcomings in current lifecycle programs and prioritize high-impact opportunities.
• Construct testing roadmaps that cover messaging, timing, audience, journey architecture, offers, and conversion points.
• Establish measurement frameworks that link lifecycle activities to significant business outcomes.
• Provide hands-on strategy, platform architecture, client delivery, and execution.
• Collaborate with various client technology stacks and lifecycle platforms.
• Manage senior client relationships and spearhead strategic discussions.
• Contribute to defining Directive's lifecycle methodology, service offerings, delivery model, technology recommendations, and measurement frameworks.
• Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the lifecycle marketing team as the service grows.
• Support eCommerce, service, and SaaS clients in areas such as retention, channel enablement, lead nurturing, pipeline acceleration, customer expansion, and subscription growth.
• Identify lifecycle marketing opportunities prior to the commencement of engagements.
• Participate in scoping, pitching, and expanding client engagements.
• Collaborate with the Director and Managing Director while exercising considerable autonomy.
• Over 6 years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, marketing automation, retention, or related fields.
• Significant experience supporting B2B, SaaS, Service, or complex eCommerce business models.
• Proven hands-on experience in architecting lifecycle programs from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, automation, customer journeys, trigger logic, experimentation, and lifecycle measurement.
• Proficient in at least two major lifecycle or marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Klaviyo, Marketo, or Attentive.
• Experience working with imperfect data and developing practical strategies despite technical limitations.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to lead discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Experience linking lifecycle activities to pipeline, revenue, retention, expansion, or other significant business outcomes.
• Previous experience mentoring, managing, or informally developing other marketers.
• Capability to shift between strategy and execution.
• Strong commercial instincts and comfort in scoping, pitching, or expanding client engagements.
• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and creating structure where little exists.
• Strong opinions coupled with a willingness to adapt based on data or client context.
• Agency or consulting experience managing multiple clients simultaneously is a strong advantage.
• Experience in supporting both eCommerce and B2B/SaaS lifecycle programs is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with manufacturer, distributor, dealer, reseller, or other channel-driven revenue models is a strong advantage.
• Experience with ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or Infor is a strong advantage.
• Experience with SMS strategy, technology evaluation, implementation, and optimization is a strong advantage.
• Experience collaborating closely with RevOps, Sales Operations, or Marketing Operations teams is a strong advantage.
• Experience auditing lifecycle programs and translating findings into paid consulting engagements is a strong advantage.
• Previous responsibilities in scoping, pitching, or selling professional services is a strong advantage.
• Experience in helping to build a new capability, department, or service offering is a strong advantage.
• Platform certifications across HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, or similar technologies are a strong advantage.
• Valid work authorization and permanent residency in Canada is required for this position.
