
Life Sciences Technical Sales Internship – Cellular and Molecular Research

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Assist in sales operations and interact with clients in the life sciences, diagnostics, and applied markets.
• Establish connections with both new and existing clients, generate and qualify leads, and support sales teams with follow-up activities.
• Aid in both inbound and outbound operations, monitor campaign effectiveness, and ensure accurate customer and opportunity data is maintained in CRM systems.
• Manage independent, high-profile projects that deliver value to Agilent’s sales team and clients.
• Evaluate market conditions and convert insights into effective sales strategies.
• Participate in training regarding Agilent’s instrument portfolio and workflow solutions.
• Provide support for teams involved in automated cell imaging, real-time metabolic and functional analysis, flow cytometry, genetics/genomics, and molecular and synthetic biology workflows.
• Currently a 2nd or 3rd-year student at an accredited university pursuing a 4-year degree in a STEM field such as Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related area.
• Possess strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibit clear and confident skills in written, verbal, and phone communication.
• Demonstrate self-motivation with a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to following instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experienced in handling spreadsheet data.
• Show curiosity, adaptability, and the capacity to excel in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
• Have experience in customer-facing or student leadership roles, such as sales, tutoring, academic advising, or peer ambassador programs.
• Availability for a 15-month internship starting in December 2026.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (40 hours per week) and part-time during the academic year (12–20 hours per week).
• Must reside in Burlington, Vermont, or Boston, Massachusetts.
• Agilent supplies a laptop and essential equipment for the duration of the internship.
