This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
β’ Deliver individual and group interventions for health psychology issues, psychosocial stressors, grief, life phase challenges, and a range of mental health presentations from mild to severe.
β’ Conduct cognitive screenings that address questions regarding functional and cognitive abilities.
β’ Execute clinical assessments and collaborate on care and treatment for mental and behavioral health symptoms.
β’ Complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations to determine diagnoses and treatment-related conclusions.
β’ Assign DSM diagnoses to assess psychosocial functioning and the needs of patients or their families.
β’ Provide emergency and crisis interventions, perform rapid assessments, and develop crisis management plans.
β’ Offer individual, group, and family psychotherapy as clinically indicated.
β’ Adhere to suicide prevention guidelines, along with risk assessment documentation and training requirements.
β’ Stay informed about veteransβ benefits, services, community resources, and referral processes.
β’ Manage cases throughout the continuum of care.
β’ Comply with client regulations regarding documentation and completion of encounters.
β’ Consult with professionals from various disciplines concerning diagnoses and treatment plans.
β’ Collaborate within interdisciplinary treatment teams and intervene during patient mental health crises.
β’ Must hold an independent practice license in any state as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW.
β’ Psychologists are required to possess PsyPact in addition to their state license.
β’ A Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited program, or a doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program, depending on the type of license.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy independently.
β’ Experience in consulting on mental health diagnoses and treatment plans for professionals across disciplines.
β’ Familiarity with DSM-5 clinical presentations and brief, evidence-based psychological interventions.
β’ Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment methodologies.
β’ Understanding of Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Serious Mental Illness.
β’ Experience treating patients within Veterans' Hospital PTSD and MHC environments.
β’ Proficient in assessment and intervention skills, including specialized experience with Evidence-Based Treatment.
β’ Ability to work efficiently within interdisciplinary teams.
β’ Knowledge of risk assessment and mental health crisis management procedures.
β’ Experience leading interdisciplinary treatment teams during mental health crises.
β’ Familiarity with one or more Electronic Health Records systems.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
β’ Must be a U.S. citizen and reside within the United States.
β’ Preferred training modalities include ACT, CBT, CBT-I, Interpersonal Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills training, and CBT for Suicide Prevention.
