PT, Physical Therapist – K-12 Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Foster creativity and enthusiasm within the virtual learning setting.

• Develop strategies to engage and support student learning as well as student relationships.

• Assess levels of gross motor function, mobility, strength, balance, and functional abilities.

• Design and implement treatment plans tailored to meet individual student needs.

• Maintain documentation of sessions and track progress towards IEP goals.

• Collaborate with school or district personnel to share updates on student progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited institution (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).

• Valid NY State PT license.

• Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

• Experience with a reliable, HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platform and a strong technological setup (webcam, headset, stable internet, private workspace).

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment with classroom teachers, case managers, and families.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
