Occupational Therapist – K-12 Schools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide captivating and high-quality occupational therapy instruction in a virtual classroom setting.

• Establish rapport and momentum that mirrors the effectiveness of an in-person therapist.

• Assess fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.

• Convert evaluation results into concise, actionable objectives.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).

• Record session details and monitor progress towards IEP objectives.

• Collaborate with school personnel, including staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators regarding student development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited institution.

• Valid New York State Occupational Therapy license in good standing.

• NBCOT certification required.

• Experience and comfort with telepractice platforms for assessments and therapy services in a school/IEP context.

• A dependable, FERPA-compliant home setup including a webcam, headset, high-speed internet connection, and a private, distraction-free work environment.

• Excellent remote collaboration skills.

• Eligible to work in the United States.
