This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages facing psychological challenges.

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting issues, assess mental status and potential risks, collect psychosocial history, and accurately diagnose using all five Axes of the current DSM manual.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing person-centered approaches and best practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric crises and offer crisis intervention while collaborating closely with psychiatrists.

• Keep medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Support individuals and families with psychosocial requirements by referring them to suitable external agencies and providing confidential information.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to mitigate crisis situations and encourage the lowest safe level of care.

• Offer Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and on-call availability after hours and on weekends as necessary.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service agencies.

• Engage in the agency's ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Provide clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for their professional growth and in challenging client situations.

• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites as assigned.
