Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages facing psychological challenges.

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to identify presenting issues, assess mental status and risk factors, compile psychosocial history, and assign precise DSM diagnoses.

• Offer individual, group, and family therapy employing person-centered approaches and evidence-based practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric crises and provide crisis intervention in partnership with psychiatrists.

• Maintain medical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies while adhering to confidentiality standards.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to mitigate crisis situations and encourage the lowest safe level of care.

• Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and be available for on-call support after hours and on weekends as required.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding resources, and human service entities.

• Engage in the agency's continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Adhere to agency policies and procedures.

• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for their professional growth and to address challenging client cases.

• Drive and travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• Must possess one of the following credentials: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Participate in educational training/seminars to stay informed on current best practices.

• Drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach destinations as required.
