Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all ages who are facing psychological challenges.

• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to pinpoint presenting issues, evaluate mental status and risk factors, compile psychosocial history, and assign precise DSM diagnoses.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy by employing person-centered approaches and evidence-based practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and offer crisis intervention while collaborating closely with psychiatrists.

• Keep medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies while ensuring adherence to confidentiality standards.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to defuse crisis situations and uphold the lowest safe level of care.

• Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and be available for on-call duties after hours and on weekends as required.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service organizations.

• Engage in ongoing agency continuous quality improvement initiatives.

• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals regarding development and complex client cases.

• Travel to community sites, agencies, and outreach locations as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.

• Required to possess one of the following credentials: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Participate in educational trainings and seminars to stay current on best practices.

• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

• Capability to drive and travel to community sites, various agencies, and other outreach locations as assigned.
