Licensed Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with individuals and families to identify presenting issues, evaluate mental status and risk factors, collect psychosocial history, and assign precise DSM diagnoses.

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy for clients of all ages utilizing person-centered approaches and best practices.

• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention in collaboration with psychiatrists.

• Maintain medical records in accordance with state, federal, and agency regulations.

• Refer individuals and families to suitable external agencies while adhering to confidentiality standards.

• Conduct crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination to de-escalate crisis situations and enhance safety.

• Provide Emergency Services coverage during clinical hours and be available for on-call duties after hours and on weekends as required.

• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, agencies, organizations, funding sources, and human service providers.

• Engage in the agency’s ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for case development and challenging client scenarios.

• Travel to community locations, agencies, and outreach sites as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess one of the following qualifications: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.

• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.

• Participate in educational trainings and seminars to stay informed on current best practices.

• Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

• Capability to drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach sites as assigned.
