This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Conduct interviews with individuals and/or families to discern presenting issues, evaluate mental status and risk factors, compile psychosocial history, and accurately assign diagnoses according to all five Axes of the current DSM manual.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages utilizing person-centered approaches and established best practices.
• Evaluate psychiatric emergencies and offer crisis intervention, collaborating closely with psychiatrists.
• Maintain medical records in alignment with state, federal, and agency regulations.
• Support individuals and families facing psychosocial challenges by referring them to suitable external agencies and providing information while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Conduct crisis assessments, ensure stabilization, and coordinate services to de-escalate crisis situations while maintaining the lowest safe level of care.
• Provide coverage or back-up for Emergency Services during clinical hours and be available for on-call support after hours and on weekends as required.
• Foster positive working relationships with the communities served, individuals, families, staff, monitoring and licensing agencies, organizations, funding sources, and other human service entities.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Offer clinical consultation to Monarch professionals for professional growth and complex client scenarios.
• Travel to community sites, agencies, and outreach locations as assigned.
• Candidates must be from North Carolina only.
• Must possess one of the following credentials: LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC.
• Maintain licensure as mandated by the licensing board.
• Participate in educational trainings and seminars to stay informed on current best practices.

• Ability to drive and travel to community locations, various agencies, and other outreach sites as assigned.
