Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver clinical supervision required by the board to associate-level clinicians pursuing full licensure.

• Assist clinicians in providing telehealth services to the Medicaid community.

• Supervise in accordance with professional judgment and the regulations set by the licensing board.

• Mentor associates throughout the licensure journey.

• Offer constructive feedback to enhance clinicians’ skills.

• Aid associates with Medicaid documentation and compliance tasks.

• Foster a collaborative supervision relationship by working alongside associates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid LPC license in good standing in Michigan, with board authorization to provide clinical supervision.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in guiding associates to achieve full licensure.

• Maintain malpractice insurance ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate).

• Knowledge of clinical documentation and treatment planning in accordance with Medicaid regulations.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and other digital resources.

• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup.

• Own a computer and have reliable internet access for confidential virtual sessions.

• Proficient in English.

• Spanish language skills are preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

• Extensive clinical experience with strong diagnostic judgment.

• A collaborative mindset when working with associates.

• Ability to provide developmental feedback effectively.

• Willingness to assist associates with Medicaid documentation and compliance matters.
