Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth initiative.

• Provide empathetic, top-notch mental health care.

• Offer mental health treatment to individuals of all ages.

• Complete around 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Manage an average caseload of six clients each day.

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions.

• Implement thorough assessments and create treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Employ telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Engage in the application review and questionnaire process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• Maintain a private work-from-home environment that ensures patient safety and complies with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficient in English.

• Spanish language skills preferred; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Ability to fulfill 30 hours of client care per week, averaging six clients daily.

• Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Experience in working with individuals who have chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Full-time psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours weekly.
