Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment directly to patients utilizing technology.

• Offer care to patients of all ages.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Conduct psychotherapy sessions and thorough assessments.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Utilize telehealth, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Engage in the application questionnaire and discussions with recruiters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• A dedicated work-from-home environment that ensures privacy for patient safety and compliance with HIPAA.

• Proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Competence in using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Background in substance abuse and addiction disorders.

• Experience with chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder.

• A minimum of 20 client-facing hours per week in full-time one-on-one psychotherapy.
