Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment to individuals across various age groups.

• Offer care through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Complete around 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Utilize diagnostic expertise, treatment planning, thorough assessments, telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their personal goals.

• Potential to acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health ventures into new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Candidates for LMHC and LMFT must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• A private workspace at home for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience in partnering with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to complete 30 hours of client care each week.

• Openness to working with patients experiencing chronic severe mental illness.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
