Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Spanish Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide mental health treatment for patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans while serving Medicaid and Medicare patients.

• Conduct around 30 client care hours each week, averaging 6 clients daily.

• Utilize comprehensive assessments to create tailored treatment plans.

• Diagnose conditions related to mental health and/or substance abuse.

• Collaborate with clients to meet their treatment objectives.

• Provide care through telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Engage in the application review and recruitment process, including completing a post-application questionnaire if requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Candidates for LMHC and LMFT must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without any employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Home workspace must ensure privacy for patient safety and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven ability to partner with clients to attain their goals.

• Capable of utilizing comprehensive assessments effectively.

• Willingness and ability to complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients each day.

• Experience working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Openness to obtaining additional state licenses as required.
