Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Provide compassionate and high-quality mental health care.

• Offer care to patients across all age groups.

• Perform mental health and/or substance abuse assessments.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their goals.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Manage approximately 6 clients daily, totaling 30 client care hours each week.

• May acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health enters new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and appropriate licensure required.

• Candidates for LMHC and LMFT must hold Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without future employer sponsorship.

• Dedicated work-from-home space to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English is essential; Spanish fluency is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is a bonus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnostics.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Proven track record of collaborating with clients to meet their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Availability for 30 hours of client care weekly.

• Experience working with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
