Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services through Brave Health’s telehealth initiative

• Provide care for patients of all ages

• Administer mental health treatment to individuals covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare

• Complete around 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily

• Utilize comprehensive assessments and formulate treatment plans

• Diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders

• Collaborate with clients to reach treatment objectives

• Employ telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools

• Maintain a Monday through Friday work schedule with no weekend commitments

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure

• LMHC and LMFT candidates must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

• Home office must ensure privacy for patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is advantageous

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance use disorder diagnoses

• Skilled in treatment planning

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals

• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments

• Willingness to acquire additional state licenses as necessary for expansion

• Capacity to fulfill 30 client care hours weekly
