Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Offer mental health treatment to patients of all ages.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans and cater to Medicaid and Medicare patients.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate treatment plans, and address mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Assist clients in achieving their objectives utilizing telehealth technology.

• Potential to secure additional state licenses as Brave Health ventures into new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• LMHC and LMFT candidates must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• Home workspace must ensure privacy for patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as necessary.
