Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Administer mental health treatment to individuals across various age groups.

• Maintain a workload of 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Collaborate with patients experiencing chronic severe mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.

• Employ knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses, treatment planning, comprehensive assessments, and telehealth technology.

• Partner with clients to help them achieve their goals.

• Complete a post-application questionnaire and, if both parties find it suitable, move forward with a senior recruiter.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure required.

• Candidates for LMHC and LMFT must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• Home workspace must ensure privacy for patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfort in using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.

• Capability to utilize comprehensive assessments effectively.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
