Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth platform.

• Offer mental health treatment to patients of all ages.

• Perform mental health and/or substance abuse assessments.

• Create personalized treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their objectives.

• Employ telehealth software, video conferencing, and internal communication tools.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients daily.

• Assist Brave Health in expanding into new markets by securing additional state licenses as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree and relevant licensure.

• All LMHC and LMFT applicants must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D) to be considered.

• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private work-from-home environment to ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish fluency preferred; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnostics.

• Experience in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to effectively utilize comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required.
