Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Offer mental health treatment to patients of all ages.

• Complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients each day.

• Utilize knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses, treatment planning, and thorough assessments.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their goals.

• Employ telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Potentially acquire additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• LMHC and LMFT candidates must possess Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• A private workspace at home compliant with patient safety and HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and fluency in additional languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to achieve their objectives.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
