Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC-D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Deliver mental health treatment to individuals of all ages.

• Utilize technology such as telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Conduct thorough assessments and create tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them achieve their personal goals.

• Complete 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging six clients per day.

• Opportunity to obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's level degree and appropriate licensure.

• Candidates holding LMHC and LMFT must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D).

• Must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• A private work-from-home environment to ensure patient safety and HIPAA compliance.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are preferred.

• Familiarity with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments.

• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
