Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth initiative.

• Provide mental health care to patients of all ages.

• Serve patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare.

• Conduct around 30 hours of client care weekly, with an average of 6 clients daily.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to help them reach their treatment objectives.

• Utilize telehealth, video conferencing, and internal communication platforms.

• Aid in Brave Health's growth by acquiring additional state licenses as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree and appropriate licensure.

• Unrestricted ability to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English; Spanish is preferred, and knowledge of other languages is advantageous.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Experience with treatment planning.

• Proficient in using telehealth software, video communication tools, and internal messaging systems.

• Background in collaborating with clients to achieve their goals.

• Ability to implement comprehensive assessments.

• Currently fully or independently licensed in at least one state.

• Willingness to pursue additional state licenses as needed.

• Capacity to provide 30 hours of client care weekly, averaging 6 clients each day.

• Experience with patients suffering from chronic severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder.
