This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Respond to inbound warm leads from prospective clients interested in pet insurance policies.
• Employ a consultative sales approach to identify customer requirements and customize insurance solutions.
• Highlight the value and advantages of pet insurance policies.
• Establish call agendas, maintain control during calls, and steer discussions towards enrollment.
• Provide details regarding policies and coverage options while addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
• Confidently and empathetically manage objections and reservations.
• Utilize assumptive closing methods to facilitate customer enrollment.
• Accurately enroll pets in insurance policies while collecting and documenting necessary information.
• Assist existing members via phone and email.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to achieve or exceed sales goals and objectives.
• Valid provincial General/P&C Insurance license, such as an OTL General Insurance Agent license, General Level 1 license, or equivalent based on the province of residence.
• Must be eligible for license reciprocity in additional jurisdictions, excluding Québec.
• At least 2 years of experience in a sales position.
• Exceptional communication abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Capability to actively listen, comprehend customer needs, and deliver suitable solutions.
• Knowledge of the insurance sector, especially pet insurance, is advantageous.
• Strong capacity to handle objections and convert them into opportunities.
• Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and productivity goals.
• A positive attitude, adaptability, and a desire to learn and advance within the role.
• Proficient in basic computer applications and data entry.
• Must be licensed to sell insurance in Canada and the province of residence.
• Availability on weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday.
• Flexibility with rotating shift schedules, including shifts as early as 3:00 AM Pacific Time and start times as late as 1:30 PM Pacific Time.
