This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Assist in the intake and triage of new and ongoing third-party requests via TPRM systems and workflows.
β’ Aid in the coordination and execution of inherent risk assessments and due diligence processes for vendor products and services.
β’ Evaluate submitted questionnaires, supporting documents, and risk artifacts for completeness and quality before escalation or subject matter expert review.
β’ Monitor required documentation, outreach, and follow-up activities to ensure assessments progress through the process within set service levels.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to collect information for third-party risk assessments.
β’ Keep accurate records in TPRM systems of record, which include risk ratings, findings, approvals, remediation actions, and lifecycle status updates.
β’ Assist in tracking remediation efforts and following up with internal stakeholders and third parties to ensure timely resolution of issues.
β’ Support ongoing monitoring activities, encompassing reassessment scheduling, documentation updates, and evidence collection.
β’ Facilitate standard and ad hoc reporting for management, governance committees, audits, and regulatory inquiries.
β’ Identify data quality concerns, process deficiencies, and opportunities for operational enhancements, escalating when necessary.
β’ Help maintain TPRM documentation.
β’ Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and provide timely, professional assistance regarding TPRM requirements and process inquiries.
β’ Maintain a thorough understanding of the TPRM program, including relevant policies, procedures, systems, and governance expectations.
β’ Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to third-party risk management.
β’ Assist with special projects and broader TPRM program initiatives as assigned by management.
β’ A minimum of 1β3 years of experience in third-party risk management, supplier/vendor management, procurement, compliance, operational risk, audit, cybersecurity, or a related field.
β’ Familiarity with risk management principles, control environments, and due diligence methodologies.
β’ Experience with workflow, procurement, GRC, or TPRM platforms.
β’ Ability to juggle multiple tasks, competing priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
β’ Strong attention to detail and capability to handle large volumes of data and documentation accurately.
β’ Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with a systematic approach to issue identification and resolution.
β’ Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting priorities based on business needs and leadership directives.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with internal stakeholders and third parties.
β’ A self-driven individual who shows initiative, reliability, flexibility, and accountability.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
β’ Familiarity with third-party risk domains such as information security, privacy, business continuity, legal, compliance, or financial risk is advantageous.
β’ Experience in financial services or a highly regulated setting is preferred.
