Licensed Counselor – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Deliver telehealth sessions while providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.

• Work with a diverse clientele, including couples and children.

• Assist clients in achieving measurable progress.

• Perform intake assessments and make diagnoses in accordance with the current DSM-5 under the guidance of a licensed supervisor.

• Establish a full caseload within 90 days of obtaining credentials.

• Maintain availability seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.

• Engage in clinical supervision and participate in monthly case consultations.

• Collaborate with a clinical community of licensed professionals.

• Concentrate on client care while Thriveworks manages credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be board-approved as a LPC.

• Seeking independent licensure and residing in Ohio.

• Willingness to travel for the initial supervision session to meet with the assigned Supervisor in person.

• Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.

• Required graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting addressing depression and anxiety.

• Preferred graduate or post-graduate work experience in independently conducting intakes and making diagnoses per the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.

• Availability for a minimum of 25 sessions with at least 30 hours of availability each week.

• Open to treating a range of clients, including couples and children.

• Experience with telehealth and electronic health record (EHR) tools.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.

• This position does not qualify for employment visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.
