Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Perform intake assessments to assess Member readiness and identify the appropriate level of care.

• Lead group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Provide crisis intervention and facilitate necessary referrals when required.

• Ensure prompt and precise documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Work in conjunction with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all applicable state laws.

• Verification of credentials must be completed through the State Board’s website as part of the application procedure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and verifiable license from one of the following Arizona licenses: LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LIAC, LACT, or LAAC, as well as your state of residence if it is not Arizona.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• Committed to supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working autonomously and as a member of a collaborative team in a dynamic, mission-driven startup environment.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace along with reliable internet access.
